Razer Blade 15 2018 H2 Review 2023

Razer Blade 15 2018 H2 Review 2023

The Razer Blade 15 2018 H2 is the second generation of the world’s lightest gaming laptop, with an upgraded processor and GPU, making it even more powerful than its predecessor. The question is whether or not this new model can hold up to modern games at high settings and with lots of eye candy enabled. We’ve put it through our usual tests to determine whether you should get one!

Specs

The Razer Blade 15 2018 H2 is powered by an Intel Core i7-8750H CPU paired with 16GB DDR4 RAM and a 256GB SSD. It has a 15.6″ Full HD display (1920 x 1080), but the screen can be upgraded to 4k resolution if you want to go that route.

The graphics card in this system is NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 Max-Q, which should be enough for most people who play games on their laptops but don’t need lifelike visuals or high frame rates in their experiences. You’ll also get an integrated Intel HD 620 GPU for everyday tasks like browsing the web or editing documents—though it’s not going to push your laptop into 4K territory like some other models might have done before now!

If you’re looking for more performance than what this laptop offers up by default, then there are two options available: one is about $100 more expensive than buying everything separately; another option is coming soon from Razer, where they’ll release something similar called “Razer Blade 17“.

Build Quality

From a design perspective, the Razer Blade 15 2018 H2 is a beauty to behold. The CNC aluminum chassis is solid and feels great, while the display bezels are slim but not as slim as some other laptops. It’s also one of the few brands that still use Kaby Lake processors in their gaming laptops.

The overall build quality of this laptop is excellent—it’s solid enough to withstand drops or bumps without losing functionality—but it’s not as strong as some other models we’ve reviewed (like our Best Gaming Laptops article). This can make it difficult for you if you’re traveling with your laptop often or want something smaller than your desk will allow for storage purposes; however, if this isn’t important for whatever reason, then no worries!

Performance

An Intel Core i7-9750H CPU powers the Razer Blade 15 with 16GB of RAM and an Nvidia GeForce RTX 2060 graphics card. The GPU is capable of 4K video playback and offers excellent performance for gaming, although it isn’t as powerful as many other laptops on the market. It also has two storage options: 256GB NVMe SSD (which we recommend) and 2TB HDD (which you may want to upgrade).

Battery Life

The Razer Blade 15 has a 5-hour battery life and comes with a 60W charger. It’s also compatible with USB-C charging ports, which means you can use the same charger that charges your phone to charge the Blade 15. You’ll find an included 45W USB-C charger in the box, and if you want one of those separately (or if you have an older laptop), there are plenty of options, too—the best ones are usually around $20-$30.

Keyboard & Trackpad

The keyboard is a step up from the Razer Blade 14, but it still could be better. The keys are flat with no texture, so they don’t feel as good to type on or press down, and they’re not backlit, either. They also lack any lighting effects or RGB features like other laptops.

The trackpad is much better than what we saw on the Razer Blade 14! It has a subtle pattern to it that makes it seem more premium than just plain black plastic. There are two buttons below the touchpad for quick access to Windows-style multitouch gestures such as pinch-to-zoom in browsers and desktop programs (this works well). And you need more room for your fingers. In that case, there’s even an additional button on top if you want multiple fingers at once at any time during use—this makes things like playing games much easier because now there aren’t any restrictions placed upon how many fingers can be used at once without having issues caused by overlapping movements between them.”

Processor of Razer Blade 15 2018 H2

The processor of the Razer Blade 15 2018 H2 is an Intel Core i7-8750H. This processor has a base clock speed of 2.2GHz, which can be boosted to 4.1GHz under full load; it also has a 9MB cache and six cores running at up to 4GHz (with Turbo Boost).

The processor could be better or more powerful and available today. Still, it performs well enough for daily tasks like web browsing and video streaming without problems!

Weight

The Razer Blade 15 2018 H2 is 4.3 pounds, making it lighter than its predecessor by 0.7 inches and much more portable than any gaming laptop before. This makes it easy to carry around during long flights or LAN parties and plop on your desk when you need a break from work (or even just want to watch Netflix).

The Razer Blade 15 comes in at 1.8 inches thick with its rear panel removed while still maintaining its sleek 19 millimeters beveled edge along one side and two speakers on either side of the screen that produces sound through ports in what resembles a hexagonal design element instead of traditional rectangular ones found on most laptops today (which tend not to have speakers).

Price

The price of Razer Blade 15 2018 H2 is 1422$  in the US, and you can get it from Amazon.com or Flipkart at a discount of up to Rs. 20$.

Conclusion

The Razer Blade 15 2018 H2 is great for gaming and productivity. It has all of the latest features available, some of which are exclusive to this model. If you’re looking for a powerful machine that can handle every task at work or home, look no further than this! You will not be disappointed by its performance either because it comes equipped with an Intel Core i7-7700HQ processor paired with 16GB DDR4 RAM, which means it can handle anything without slowing down on screen transitions or loading times between games.
